Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are provided by Jay Ar Gargaran ("we", "us", or "our"), the operator of Skedra — a social media content scheduling and management platform. By accessing and using this Service, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. User Accounts and Eligibility

To use our service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years of age (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction)
• Provide accurate and complete account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Comply with all applicable laws and platform policies

3. Use License

Permission is granted to use this platform for personal or commercial social media scheduling. You may not modify, reverse engineer, or transfer the license to another entity.

4. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you post. By using our service:

• You grant us permission to publish content to your connected accounts
• You confirm you have all necessary rights to the content
• We do NOT add watermarks or logos to your visual media
• We do NOT add any watermarks, branding, or 'via Skedra' attribution to your posts (even on Free plans)
• You maintain responsibility for the legality of your content

5. TikTok-Specific Terms

When using our TikTok integration:

• You must provide explicit consent before we post content
• Content must comply with TikTok's Guidelines and quality standards
• During TikTok review mode, posts created through Skedra are sent as Self-Only as required by TikTok's unaudited app restrictions
• TikTok privacy selection is not available in Skedra until TikTok approves the integration for audited/public posting
• We do NOT add watermarks or branding overlays (per TikTok API policy)
• Initial visibility remains Self-Only until TikTok finishes the audit

6. Social Media Connections

You confirm you have the legal right to connect accounts and authorize us to post according to your schedule. We are not liable for violations of third-party platform terms.

7. API Usage and Restrictions

We comply with development terms for Meta (including Feb 3, 2025 terms) and TikTok:

• We respect API rate limits and minimum permission principles
• API credentials are stored securely with restricted access
• We do NOT use API data to build advertising profiles

8. Limitation of Liability

Service is provided 'as is'. We are not liable for failed posts, account suspensions on third-party platforms, or data loss due to API changes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. We comply with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
